Treatments
Gray-market "research use only" peptides come with no physician, no dosing guidance, and no quality accountability, and they are not intended for human use. Every Live Vital protocol is physician-prescribed and prepared by a licensed US compounding pharmacy regulated by state boards of pharmacy and required to comply with applicable USP standards.
Many peptide therapies are not FDA-approved for treatment or prevention of disease, though a growing body of scientific and clinical evidence supports their use in longevity, metabolic optimization, and recovery. At Live Vital, peptide therapies are offered only under direct physician supervision, after an informed consent process covering non-FDA approval status, potential risks, benefits, and alternatives. Outcomes vary by individual.
Logistics & billing
Every price is listed up front on the treatment page: $99 to $299 per month depending on the protocol, on 10-week protocols. HSA/FSA funds are eligible.
We do not accept insurance. This allows us to provide uncompromised, preventative care without insurance limitations. You can use HSA/FSA funds for any costs.
Live Vital is licensed to provide care in all 50 states through our telehealth platform.
Storage, dosing & shipping
After you order, Dr. Taylor reviews each and every prescription request for medical safety and appropriateness, which can take 24–48 hours. Then the prescription must go to a 503A pharmacy, where the peptide is compounded for each specific patient and undergoes testing. Due to this, it can take 5–7 days for total processing. Your prescription is then shipped overnight in cold packs.
While manufacturers typically test multi-dose vials for sterility up to 28 days, pharmacies can extend this timeframe based on their own rigorous safety testing for specific medications. When you receive a multi-month supply in one vial, the pharmacy has verified it remains safe and effective for the entire treatment period.
All injectable medications have a "best used by date" due to sterility concerns, but as long as you use a new needle each week and keep the vial clean, the pharmacy and our doctors say that the medication and its potency are good for 6 months after opening. Many patients use it longer with no issues.
BUDs are set 90 days from the last day of compounding, so there is always some time lost to testing and shipping — although the reality is that most peptides are stable and safe if refrigerated for over 180 days.
That being said, most peptide protocols are 8–10 weeks of dosing the peptide followed by a 2–4 week break to allow for optimal results and cellular and hormone receptor resensitization.
All 503A pharmacies that Live Vital partners with should provide you with instructions for proper sterile subcutaneous injection. It is important to always use an alcohol swab on your vial topper and on your skin at the injection site, use a fresh, clean needle each time, and dispose of your needle in a sharps container.

Yes. Most peptides are stable at room temperature anywhere from 72 hours to 28 days, but they are most stable when refrigerated. Do not freeze your compounded peptide or leave it in heat greater than 80°F.
The instructions for dosing are on the packaging of your prescription. Please do not throw away the prescription box, bottle, or packaging until you have seen the dosage instructions for your medication.
Time of day for injection does not matter, as serum concentration is reached within 24 hours and tissue concentration is maintained for 48–72 hours after injection, which is why we prefer every-other-day dosing. This allows us to optimize dosing and prevent injection fatigue.
