Tirzepatide is a once-weekly injectable that activates two incretin receptors, glucose-dependent insulinotropic polypeptide (GIP) and glucagon-like peptide-1 (GLP-1). Tirzepatide is the active ingredient in the FDA-approved products Mounjaro and Zepbound.
