Dr. Taylor's take

BPC-157 and TB-500 are two of my go-to peptides for tissue repair, and I typically prescribe them together because they work through different pathways. BPC-157 acts locally, driving blood vessel formation and growth factor activity at the injury site, while TB-500 travels systemically to support cell migration and repair. I recommend this combination for patients dealing with musculoskeletal injuries or soft tissue damage that hasn't responded well on its own.

About Wolverine.

Wolverine combines two peptides that are frequently prescribed together for tissue repair: BPC-157, a 15-amino-acid peptide originally isolated from human gastric juice, and TB-500, a synthetic version of thymosin beta-4, a protein naturally produced by the thymus gland. Both peptides support healing at the cellular level, but through different mechanisms, which is why Dr. Taylor often prescribes them as a pair rather than individually.

BPC-157 acts primarily at the site of injury: it promotes angiogenesis (new blood vessel formation) and modulates nitric oxide synthesis to accelerate local repair. TB-500 works systemically. It upregulates actin, the protein responsible for cell structure and movement, which allows it to travel through the bloodstream and support repair wherever it's needed. Together, the two peptides target both localized tissue damage and whole-body recovery pathways.

How it works

BPC-157 promotes angiogenesis, upregulates growth factor receptors including VEGF and EGF, and accelerates healing by increasing collagen production and fibroblast migration at the injury site. TB-500 complements this by upregulating actin for cell migration and proliferation, reducing inflammation, and supporting tissue remodeling as it circulates systemically. Because BPC-157 concentrates its effects locally while TB-500 works throughout the body, prescribing them together is intended to address both site-specific and system-wide repair.

Who it may help.

  • Athletes recovering from tendon, ligament, or muscle injuries
  • Individuals with slow-healing wounds or post-surgical recovery needs
  • People with chronic musculoskeletal injuries that haven't responded to conventional treatment
  • Those with gut issues such as IBS or inflammatory bowel conditions

What to expect, when.

Many patients report early anti-inflammatory effects within 1-2 weeks. Tissue repair, particularly for tendon, ligament, and muscle injuries, is typically reported between 4 and 8 weeks, with the fuller benefit of a complete protocol often building over 8-12 weeks. Gut-related benefits associated with BPC-157 may be noticed sooner, often within 1-2 weeks. Timelines and outcomes vary by individual, and Dr. Taylor will monitor your progress and adjust your protocol as needed.

Dosing is not one-size-fits-all. Dr. Taylor personalizes your dose and schedule after your medical intake, and adjusts it as your protocol progresses.
